    • Johann Philip Klinger (1723-1811) donated a portion of his land for the Klinger church and cemetery. He came to America in the 1751 with his brother Johann Peter Klinger. Their younger brother Alexander had come over two years earlier.

He was a Revolutionary War Veteran, having served with the Berks County Militia, 2nd Company, 4th Battalion, PA Militia.
