Cyril T. Delli Colli Obituary

C.T. Delli Colli, 50, Is Take by Death

Cyril T. Delli Colli, 50, of 102 Riverside Drive, department manager for the Beach Lumber Co., Rome, for many years, died unexpectedly yesterday in St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Dr. Thaddeus W. Piekielniak, coroner, attributed death to natural causes.

Mr. Delli Colli was a flying enthusiast and a licensed pilot. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol at Brainard Field, Mass., during World War II.

He was a Republican committeeman in the 8th Ward for the past 10 years and had been a candidate for alderman. He also had been employed part-time by Daw's Drug Store in the North Utica Shopping Center.

Mr. Delli Colli was born in Utica, a son of Humbert and Antonetta DeGeronimo Delli Colli. He was graduated from Utica Free Academy in1933 and later attended the evening division of Utica College. He was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church.

He married Carol Fragola in Utica in 1941.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sons, Humbert T. a student at Clarkson College of Technology; Lawrence A., Utica, and two sisters, Mrs. Philip (Natalie) Caruso and Mrs. Joseph (Mildred) Martinelli, both of Utica.

The funeral will be a 9 Saturday from the Mandonna Chapel of the Matt Funeral Home and 9:30 from St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church with a solemn requiem Mass.

Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
