Ceila Andrist Obituary

Mrs. Celia Andrist, 91, of 206 North Valley, Kansas City, died yesterday at Bethany hospital. She was the widow of Alfred E. Andrist. She had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, since 1912. When she was 4, she accompanied her parents from Ashtabula, O., to a homestead near Brookville, Kas. She taught in the Saline County, Kansas schools. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Valrie Just, Martinez, Calif.; Mrs. Olive D. May and Mrs. Edith Frageman, both of 3301 Washington avenue, Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs. Carrie M. Ross, Wichita, and Mrs. Edna E. Kerrick, 6914 Bellefontaine avenue; 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tomorrow night at the Gibson chapel, Kansas City, Kansas. Services will be at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday at Oliver Memorial Evangelical United Brethren church, Kansas City, Kansas; burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
