Frederick Lindy III Obituary #2
Frederick Lindy died early Monday morning at his home in Union after an illness of several weeks. He was a sufferer of cancer of the stomach. He was a native of Pike county, born November 19, 1843 and would have been 74 years old November next. He was three times married. Surviving is he widow and seven children. He was a member of Co. F, 91st Indiana during the civil war. He was a good farmer and splendid citizen widely known over the northren part of the county. The funeral service was held Wednesday at the residence, interment being made in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Union.
